Our Founder's Story
Maurice L. Hampton comes from a diverse family deeply rooted in community service. Growing up, he learned that one small act of grace—one moment of mentorship—creates ripples that extend far beyond the initial gesture. That philosophy has shaped everything he does.
With over fifteen years of experience in real estate, Maurice has built an extraordinary career marked by visionary leadership at the highest levels of the industry. As the Managing Broker and CEO of Centered International Realty Corporation, he leads a thriving firm with offices across Illinois, Indiana, and Florida. But his impact extends far beyond his own brokerage.
Maurice served as President of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, where he championed mentorship, global relationship-building, and affordable housing advocacy. Recognized as the 2021 REALTOR® of the Year, Maurice has spent decades developing leaders, closing complex deals, and building bridges across diverse communities.
